This coffee beans is bold, smooth, and deeply satisfying. Unlike other dark roasts, it is not very bitter while offering rich, layered notes of earth. I like this coffee beans.

Peet’s French Roast is my favorite coffee so far. I just received my order of two packages, but one was past its “best by” date. I got a refund for that one. The other package I just ground, and the the fresh coffee scent is excellent! Kind of a peanut buttery scent. This is a dark roast, but it is not oily. Perfectly roasted. I have ordered Peet’s French Roast multiple times, and will definitely order again! The flavor is strong just how I like it (black).
